Midway Ice Castles

Last weekend my brother and his wife (Cameron and Rissa) babysat Liam while went out for a little dinner date. It was nice to get away and not have the Lil Be there to grab our plates. When we picked up Liam, Cam and Rissa told us about this guy in Midway who uses these hoses that leak water to make ice formations. He does this up in Midway every winter and as winter goes on the ice castles get bigger. They showed us a few videos they took and immediately we decided this was a family outing we needed to do. So the next day we headed on our adventure to the Midway Ice Castles. We brought Liam’s sled and dragged him around and through this wintry sculptures. We had lots of fun and if you are looking for a winter activity this is something I recommend. It’s $5/adult. I can’t remember how much kiddos were.
